Amine Sweetening

AMINE SWEETENING

Specifications for the sale of natural gas contain stringent requirements regarding acid gases, particularly the amount of organic sulfur and sulfur compounds contained in the gas product.  Two common constituents, hydrogen sulfide (H2S) and carbon dioxide (CO2), are particularly problematic and require removal.  There are a number of processes available for acid gas removal, and Cimarron has significant experience in the design and manufacture of the most common process using aqueous amine solutions.
